2008 Australian Supermoto Championships Rd 3

The SupermotoWA club are proud to be hosting the 3rd round of the 2008 Australian Supermoto Championships at Northam WA on November 29 and 30, the meeting will consist of the following classes;

S1, S2 and S3 Championship Class
Junior ( Support Class )
Women ( Support Class )
Veteran ( Support Class )
C Grade/Novice ( Support Class )

In the event that C Grade is over subscribed the following procedure will be undertaken: Supplementary Regulations 13.2.1. Utilising each competitors fastest qualifying time the top 1/2 of the C Grade field will be placed into "C Grade" the bottom 1/2 of the C Grade field will be placed into "C Grade Novice". In the event that there is an odd number of entries, the top half plus 1 will be considered C Grade.

The class allocated to each competitor as at Round 1 will be the class they must compete in for the entire three round series. Any new competitors at each subsequent Round will be placed within either C Grade or C Grade Novice based on where their fastest qualifying lap time places them in the field. They will then remain in that class for the balance of the series.

Both C Grade and C Grade Novice will be considered separate Support Classes and will therefore be scored separately.

In the event that any class has more entries than the grid capacity will allow, heats, semi finals, last chance qualifiers and finals may be utilised.

The race format will be as follows;
S1, S2, S3 1 x 7 laps, 2 x 8 laps, 1 x 10 laps
Veteran, Women, C Grade , Junior 1 x 5 laps, 2 x 6 laps, 1 x 8 laps

Licensing Requirements:
A Competitor wants to enter S1, 2, or 3 Championship class and is a local club member and only wants to enter Rd3 - you must have a Senior National license.
A Competitor ( either Senior and Junior ) wants to enter any of the support classes only ie. ANY SUPPORT CLASS EXCLUDING S1, 2 or 3 and is a local club member - you must have a Senior National license.
If in either of the above cases you only have a Senior or Junior Club license - you will need to upgrade to a National License and pay the difference.

Will comprise of Hoodoo Gurus and Jon Stevens performing on the Saturday Night.
Karl Langdon in association with a well informed special guest commentator in Greg Offer will provide the commentary.
