Davide Gozzini and Christian Iddon will head for Western Australia in a little over a month to contest the Australian Supermoto Championships which will be held in WA for the third consecutive year.

This year the double header event will be held in the South-West town of Collie. The track at the Collie Motorplex is set for some track work with the installation of a dirt / jump section which will be in excess of 400mts, with a total track length of around 1.2km.

Both riders will jet into Perth at 1.15am on the 3^rd December and head straight to Collie. Gozzini will be accompanied by his mechanic Marco Della Chiara and his girlfriend Valentina Mariani. Iddon will have his father, Paul with him to act as his mechanic and his girlfriend Gemma Louise Bott.

Gozzini will be riding a 2011 spec Franzone TM 450 SMX complete with fuel injection, and he will bring his own suspension with him. Iddon will be riding the Crushing & Mining Equipment KTM 450SMR.

Both riders had varying degrees of success in 2009 with Gozzini taking the Australian Supermoto S1 Championship back to Italy with him and Iddon won the All Powers event from two local riders in Liam Robertson and Ian Gray. He was runner-up in the S2 class.

Gozzini is keen to defend his title before he heads to New Zealand to also defend his Tri-Series crown, and Iddon will be equally keen to take the title from him if he can.
